Round Table Experiences

Round Table Experiences open a world of activities you wouldn’t otherwise try.

From the excitement of Skydiving & Rally Driving, to Beer festivals & Clay Pigeon shooting. Getting together to share the fun is a big part of the Round Table life.

Ask members what it is that they like most about Round Table, and they’ll tell you it’s the opportunity to have fun and do something different which they would never try alone, its all about experiences. It’s like having a stag do every other week (by this we mean everything other than being handcuffed to the prom at Blackpool and drinking 20 pints of Lager). Most of the events we run are on an evening in the week.

“Table has been a terrific experience for me. I love the fact that when I come to Table I am just Kevin and not seen as nothing more than a representative of my business – for once it’s a true social occasion rather than another networking event. It doesn’t matter what your background is or you line of work, all are equal at table and the CEO of a large Plc will get the mickey taken out of him as much as the local plumber.”
“The meetings are always good fun with lots of banter and it’s great to have an environment where you can relax and be yourself, even if you get lots of abuse for anything remotely daft you may have done. The other side to Table is the fundraising for local charities. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions at times with highs when you’re raising the money at various functions including helping Rudolph and Santa at Christmas, to very humbling experiences when you’re lucky enough to visit the charities you’re helping to donate the money. It’s an amazing experience to go and meet children at the local special needs school, or drop off Christmas presents with Santa to children we’ve helped by supplying special equipment to help improve their lives. It’s also good for development as most people take a turn as Chairman and standing up to try and get a bunch of blokes to sensibly discuss any business matters such as the charity work is great experience and makes standing up in other forums seem easy.”
“So Table has been great for making some really good friends, having a great laugh and a means of going out without it being all about business and networking. It is an extremely rewarding means of being involved in some fundraising for local people, that really makes a difference that you can witness first hand. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone from any background.”
