Ipswich Round Table Charity Ball

On March the 5th we were delighted to put on a Charity Ball which went down a storm.  At the Grand Hall in Ipswich Corn Exchange we had possibly the most packed dance floor I’ve ever seen. It was a fantastic event with an amazing auctioneer who was hilarious and an all round good night.

Grant Houlden and a few others worked their socks off delivering a record making ball.  On the night we raised over £17,000 for Lapwing Education which we are thrilled with.  Over 330 guests including Hollywood Actor Hugh Fraser and the Mayor of Ipswich were in attendance for a fantastic night.

Lapwing will use the money raised to help people aged 5-25 who have fallen through the gaps of education.  This can often be for a number of reasons such as ill health, disability or circumstance.

We auctioned off some great prizes and so many local companies helped us to achieve such a great result.  We had support from other local businesses as well for the event.

Ryans for sponsoring the Balloon Burst

Bouquet Garni for the evenings food

Prestige Bars & Catering for providing the table wine

Adnams for providing the welcome drinks and a keg on the night

Frisky for being an excellent band who filled the dance floor

Stage Security for the security on the evening

St Joseph’s College for providing excellent students as musicians to play during the meal

& Polka Dot for proving the Chair Covers which finished off the room in style.
